How Do You Remap For Economy & Increase MPG?

With all Ace Economy Remaps, after we carry out our initial vehicle checks, we then download the settings in the ECU, optimize them & reload the new improved settings back in.

When ECU tuning for an economy remap, we bring the power in a little bit lower down the rev range & keep it going through the mid range, but tail off the power in the higher revs to encourage gear change.

Our economy remapping adds some turbo boost a little lower down to remove/reduce some of the turbo lag, for better response, but again boost tails off higher up the rev range.

Some of the torque curves and limits are also optimised to give more power through the lower & mid rev range, where the peak torque can be found, to give you improved economy & MPG
